Fitting wheels on a Mercedes GLS-Classe

A Mercedes GLS-Classe (2015–2019) uses a 5x112 PCD and a centre bore of 66.6 mm. Any wheel must match the vehicle's PCD exactly: there is no tolerance, unless you use a PCD adapter.

  • PCD: 5x112 required. See all vehicles with 5x112.
  • Centre bore: the wheel must have a centre bore of 66.6 mm or more. If it is larger (as with most aftermarket wheels), add a hub centric ring wheel centre bore → 66.6 mm.
  • Offset: the original is ET56.5 to ET62.5. Compare your future wheel with the offset calculator (your vehicle is already selected) to see how many millimetres further in or out it will sit.
  • Fixings: thread M14x1.50. The nuts or bolts must have the same seat (conical, spherical or flat) as the wheel.
  • Tyres: original fitment is 265/60R18, 275/55R19. For another size, check the diameter difference with the equivalence calculator (under 3 % recommended).

Vehicles with the same PCD and centre bore

Same 5x112 PCD and same 66.6 mm centre bore: wheels from these vehicles bolt on and centre on a Mercedes GLS-Classe without rings. Offset, width, diameter and caliper clearance still need checking.

Frequently asked questions

What is the PCD of a Mercedes GLS-Classe?

A Mercedes GLS-Classe (2015–2019) has a PCD of 5x112: 5 studs or bolts spaced around a circle 112 mm in diameter.

Does a Mercedes GLS-Classe need a hub centric ring?

The centre bore (hub diameter) of a Mercedes GLS-Classe is 66.6 mm. A wheel with a larger centre bore is fitted with a hub centric ring that brings it down to the hub diameter. A wheel with a smaller centre bore cannot be fitted.

What offset (ET) for a Mercedes GLS-Classe?

The recorded original offset is ET56.5 to ET62.5 depending on the version and wheel size. A lower ET pushes the wheel outwards, a higher ET pulls it inwards: check wheel well and caliper clearance before making any change.

Which vehicles have the same PCD as a Mercedes GLS-Classe?

With the same PCD (5x112) and the same centre bore (66.6 mm), these include: Mercedes E-Classe W214, Mercedes EQE, Mercedes C-Classe 206, Mercedes EQA. Offset, width and rim diameter still need checking for each vehicle.
