Fitting wheels on a Renault 5

A Renault 5 (1972–1985) uses a 3x130 or 4x100 PCD and a centre bore of 74 or 60.1 mm. Any wheel must match the vehicle's PCD exactly: there is no tolerance, unless you use a PCD adapter.

  • PCD: 3x130 or 4x100 required. See all vehicles with 3x130.
  • Centre bore: the wheel must have a centre bore of 74 mm or more. If it is larger (as with most aftermarket wheels), add a hub centric ring wheel centre bore → 74 mm.
  • Offset: the original is ET25 to ET41. Compare your future wheel with the offset calculator (your vehicle is already selected) to see how many millimetres further in or out it will sit.
  • Fixings: thread -. The nuts or bolts must have the same seat (conical, spherical or flat) as the wheel.
  • Tyres: original fitment is 155/70R13. For another size, check the diameter difference with the equivalence calculator (under 3 % recommended).
