Fitting wheels on a Chevrolet Tracker

A Chevrolet Tracker (1999–2009) uses a 5x105 or 5x139.7 PCD and a centre bore of 108.1 or 56.6 mm. Any wheel must match the vehicle's PCD exactly: there is no tolerance, unless you use a PCD adapter.

  • PCD: 5x105 or 5x139.7 required. See all vehicles with 5x105.
  • Centre bore: the wheel must have a centre bore of 56.6 mm or more. If it is larger (as with most aftermarket wheels), add a hub centric ring wheel centre bore → 56.6 mm.
  • Offset: the original is ET26 to ET42. Compare your future wheel with the offset calculator (your vehicle is already selected) to see how many millimetres further in or out it will sit.
  • Fixings: thread Ecrous - 12x1.50, tightened to 140 Nm. The nuts or bolts must have the same seat (conical, spherical or flat) as the wheel.
  • Tyres: original fitment is 195/75R15, 205/70R16, 205/60R16. For another size, check the diameter difference with the equivalence calculator (under 3 % recommended).

Vehicles with the same PCD and centre bore

Same 5x105 PCD and same 56.6 mm centre bore: wheels from these vehicles bolt on and centre on a Chevrolet Tracker without rings. Offset, width, diameter and caliper clearance still need checking.

Will wheels from another vehicle fit your Tracker?

Choose the vehicle the wheels come from: we compare the hub, then each original wheel to the millimetre.

Frequently asked questions

What is the PCD of a Chevrolet Tracker?

A Chevrolet Tracker (1999–2009) can have a 5x105 or 5x139.7 PCD depending on the version: check on an original wheel.

Does a Chevrolet Tracker need a hub centric ring?

The centre bore (hub diameter) of a Chevrolet Tracker is 108.1 or 56.6 mm. A wheel with a larger centre bore is fitted with a hub centric ring that brings it down to the hub diameter. A wheel with a smaller centre bore cannot be fitted.

What offset (ET) for a Chevrolet Tracker?

The recorded original offset is ET26 to ET42 depending on the version and wheel size. A lower ET pushes the wheel outwards, a higher ET pulls it inwards: check wheel well and caliper clearance before making any change.

What tightening torque for the wheels of a Chevrolet Tracker?

The specified tightening torque is 140 Nm for Ecrous - 12x1.50 fixings. Tighten in a criss-cross pattern with a torque wrench and check the tightness again after about fifty kilometres.

Which vehicles have the same PCD as a Chevrolet Tracker?

With the same PCD (5x105) and the same centre bore (56.6 mm), these include: Chevrolet Bolt EV, Chevrolet Trax, Chevrolet Aveo 5 trou, Opel Ampera-e. Offset, width and rim diameter still need checking for each vehicle.
