Fitting wheels on a Renault Express

A Renault Express (1986–1999) uses a 4x100 or 5x114.3 PCD and a centre bore of 60.1 or 66.1 mm. Any wheel must match the vehicle's PCD exactly: there is no tolerance, unless you use a PCD adapter.

  • PCD: 4x100 or 5x114.3 required. See all vehicles with 4x100.
  • Centre bore: the wheel must have a centre bore of 60.1 mm or more. If it is larger (as with most aftermarket wheels), add a hub centric ring wheel centre bore → 60.1 mm.
  • Offset: the original is ET37 to ET40. Compare your future wheel with the offset calculator (your vehicle is already selected) to see how many millimetres further in or out it will sit.
  • Fixings: thread M12x1.50. The nuts or bolts must have the same seat (conical, spherical or flat) as the wheel.
  • Tyres: original fitment is 185/60R14, 185/65R15. For another size, check the diameter difference with the equivalence calculator (under 3 % recommended).

Vehicles with the same PCD and centre bore

Same 4x100 PCD and same 60.1 mm centre bore: wheels from these vehicles bolt on and centre on a Renault Express without rings. Offset, width, diameter and caliper clearance still need checking.

Will wheels from another vehicle fit your Express?

Choose the vehicle the wheels come from: we compare the hub, then each original wheel to the millimetre.

Frequently asked questions

What is the PCD of a Renault Express?

A Renault Express (1986–1999) can have a 4x100 or 5x114.3 PCD depending on the version: check on an original wheel.

Does a Renault Express need a hub centric ring?

The centre bore (hub diameter) of a Renault Express is 60.1 or 66.1 mm. A wheel with a larger centre bore is fitted with a hub centric ring that brings it down to the hub diameter. A wheel with a smaller centre bore cannot be fitted.

What offset (ET) for a Renault Express?

The recorded original offset is ET37 to ET40 depending on the version and wheel size. A lower ET pushes the wheel outwards, a higher ET pulls it inwards: check wheel well and caliper clearance before making any change.

Which vehicles have the same PCD as a Renault Express?

With the same PCD (4x100) and the same centre bore (60.1 mm), these include: Renault Twingo E-Tech, Renault Clio 5, Renault Twingo 3, Renault Captur I. Offset, width and rim diameter still need checking for each vehicle.
