Fitting wheels on a MG S5 EV

A MG S5 EV (from 2025) uses a 5x112 PCD and a centre bore of 66.6 mm. Any wheel must match the vehicle's PCD exactly: there is no tolerance, unless you use a PCD adapter.

  • PCD: 5x112 required. See all vehicles with 5x112.
  • Centre bore: the wheel must have a centre bore of 66.6 mm or more. If it is larger (as with most aftermarket wheels), add a hub centric ring wheel centre bore → 66.6 mm.
  • Offset: the original is ET51. Compare your future wheel with the offset calculator (your vehicle is already selected) to see how many millimetres further in or out it will sit.
  • Fixings: thread M14x1.5. The nuts or bolts must have the same seat (conical, spherical or flat) as the wheel.
  • Tyres: original fitment is 215/60R17, 225/55R18. For another size, check the diameter difference with the equivalence calculator (under 3 % recommended).

Vehicles with the same PCD and centre bore

Same 5x112 PCD and same 66.6 mm centre bore: wheels from these vehicles bolt on and centre on a MG S5 EV without rings. Offset, width, diameter and caliper clearance still need checking.

Frequently asked questions

What is the PCD of a MG S5 EV?

A MG S5 EV (from 2025) has a PCD of 5x112: 5 studs or bolts spaced around a circle 112 mm in diameter.

Does a MG S5 EV need a hub centric ring?

The centre bore (hub diameter) of a MG S5 EV is 66.6 mm. A wheel with a larger centre bore is fitted with a hub centric ring that brings it down to the hub diameter. A wheel with a smaller centre bore cannot be fitted.

What offset (ET) for a MG S5 EV?

The recorded original offset is ET51 depending on the version and wheel size. A lower ET pushes the wheel outwards, a higher ET pulls it inwards: check wheel well and caliper clearance before making any change.

Which vehicles have the same PCD as a MG S5 EV?

With the same PCD (5x112) and the same centre bore (66.6 mm), these include: MG HS (2024), MG eHS, MG RX6, MG RX5. Offset, width and rim diameter still need checking for each vehicle.
