Fitting wheels on a MG ZS II

A MG ZS II (2020–2024) uses a 5x100 PCD and a centre bore of 56.1 mm. Any wheel must match the vehicle's PCD exactly: there is no tolerance, unless you use a PCD adapter.

  • PCD: 5x100 required. See all vehicles with 5x100.
  • Centre bore: the wheel must have a centre bore of 56.1 mm or more. If it is larger (as with most aftermarket wheels), add a hub centric ring wheel centre bore → 56.1 mm.
  • Offset: the original is ET41. Compare your future wheel with the offset calculator (your vehicle is already selected) to see how many millimetres further in or out it will sit.
  • Fixings: thread M14x1.5. The nuts or bolts must have the same seat (conical, spherical or flat) as the wheel.
  • Tyres: original fitment is 215/55R17. For another size, check the diameter difference with the equivalence calculator (under 3 % recommended).

Generations of the MG ZS

Previous generation: MG ZS (2001–2005) — the bolt pattern changes (5x100 instead of 4x100): the wheels are not interchangeable.

Vehicles with the same PCD and centre bore

Same 5x100 PCD and same 56.1 mm centre bore: wheels from these vehicles bolt on and centre on a MG ZS II without rings. Offset, width, diameter and caliper clearance still need checking.

Will wheels from another vehicle fit your ZS II?

Choose the vehicle the wheels come from: we compare the hub, then each original wheel to the millimetre.

Frequently asked questions

What is the PCD of a MG ZS II?

A MG ZS II (2020–2024) has a PCD of 5x100: 5 studs or bolts spaced around a circle 100 mm in diameter.

Does a MG ZS II need a hub centric ring?

The centre bore (hub diameter) of a MG ZS II is 56.1 mm. A wheel with a larger centre bore is fitted with a hub centric ring that brings it down to the hub diameter. A wheel with a smaller centre bore cannot be fitted.

What offset (ET) for a MG ZS II?

The recorded original offset is ET41. A lower ET pushes the wheel outwards, a higher ET pulls it inwards: check wheel well and caliper clearance before making any change.

Which vehicles have the same PCD as a MG ZS II?

With the same PCD (5x100) and the same centre bore (56.1 mm), these include: MG ZT, Toyota GR86, Subaru Impreza GT, Subaru BRZ. Offset, width and rim diameter still need checking for each vehicle.
