A Honda Civic (1983–1987) uses a 4x100 or 5x114.3 PCD and a centre bore of 56.1 or 64.1 mm.
Any wheel must match the vehicle's PCD exactly: there is no tolerance, unless you use a PCD adapter.
Centre bore: the wheel must have a centre bore of 56.1 mm or more. If it is larger (as with most aftermarket wheels), add a hub centric ring wheel centre bore → 56.1 mm.
Offset: the original is ET45 to ET55. Compare your future wheel with the offset calculator (your vehicle is already selected) to see how many millimetres further in or out it will sit.
Fixings: thread Ecrous - 12x1.50, tightened to 108 Nm. The nuts or bolts must have the same seat (conical, spherical or flat) as the wheel.
Tyres: original fitment is 175/70R13, 185/70R14, 195/65R15, 205/55R16. For another size, check the diameter difference with the equivalence calculator (under 3 % recommended).

Vehicles with the same PCD and centre bore
Same 4x100 PCD and same 56.1 mm centre bore: wheels from these vehicles bolt on and centre on a Honda Civic without rings. Offset, width, diameter and caliper clearance still need checking.
These vehicles also use 4x100 but with a different centre bore: their wheels need a hub centric ring if their centre bore is larger than 56.1 mm, and will not fit if it is smaller.
A Honda Civic (1983–1987) can have a 4x100 or 5x114.3 PCD depending on the version: check on an original wheel.
Does a Honda Civic need a hub centric ring?
The centre bore (hub diameter) of a Honda Civic is 56.1 or 64.1 mm. A wheel with a larger centre bore is fitted with a hub centric ring that brings it down to the hub diameter. A wheel with a smaller centre bore cannot be fitted.
What offset (ET) for a Honda Civic?
The recorded original offset is ET45 to ET55 depending on the version and wheel size. A lower ET pushes the wheel outwards, a higher ET pulls it inwards: check wheel well and caliper clearance before making any change.
What tightening torque for the wheels of a Honda Civic?
The specified tightening torque is 108 Nm for Ecrous - 12x1.50 fixings. Tighten in a criss-cross pattern with a torque wrench and check the tightness again after about fifty kilometres.
Which vehicles have the same PCD as a Honda Civic?
With the same PCD (4x100) and the same centre bore (56.1 mm), these include: Honda WR-V, Honda Insight, Honda Fit, Honda Jazz. Offset, width and rim diameter still need checking for each vehicle.
