Fitting wheels on a Smart #3

A Smart #3 (from 2023) uses a 5x108 PCD and a centre bore of 63.4 mm. Any wheel must match the vehicle's PCD exactly: there is no tolerance, unless you use a PCD adapter.

  • PCD: 5x108 required. See all vehicles with 5x108.
  • Centre bore: the wheel must have a centre bore of 63.4 mm or more. If it is larger (as with most aftermarket wheels), add a hub centric ring wheel centre bore → 63.4 mm.
  • Offset: the original is ET48. Compare your future wheel with the offset calculator (your vehicle is already selected) to see how many millimetres further in or out it will sit.
  • Fixings: thread M14x1.50. The nuts or bolts must have the same seat (conical, spherical or flat) as the wheel.
  • Tyres: original fitment is 235/45R19. For another size, check the diameter difference with the equivalence calculator (under 3 % recommended).

Vehicles with the same PCD and centre bore

Same 5x108 PCD and same 63.4 mm centre bore: wheels from these vehicles bolt on and centre on a Smart #3 without rings. Offset, width, diameter and caliper clearance still need checking.

Will wheels from another vehicle fit your #3?

Choose the vehicle the wheels come from: we compare the hub, then each original wheel to the millimetre.

Frequently asked questions

What is the PCD of a Smart #3?

A Smart #3 (from 2023) has a PCD of 5x108: 5 studs or bolts spaced around a circle 108 mm in diameter.

Does a Smart #3 need a hub centric ring?

The centre bore (hub diameter) of a Smart #3 is 63.4 mm. A wheel with a larger centre bore is fitted with a hub centric ring that brings it down to the hub diameter. A wheel with a smaller centre bore cannot be fitted.

What offset (ET) for a Smart #3?

The recorded original offset is ET48. A lower ET pushes the wheel outwards, a higher ET pulls it inwards: check wheel well and caliper clearance before making any change.

Which vehicles have the same PCD as a Smart #3?

With the same PCD (5x108) and the same centre bore (63.4 mm), these include: Smart #1, Zeekr 9X, Lynk&Co 02, Polestar Polestar 4. Offset, width and rim diameter still need checking for each vehicle.
