Fitting wheels on a Ford E-350

A Ford E-350 (1992–2007) uses a 8x165.1 PCD and a centre bore of 123.9 mm. Any wheel must match the vehicle's PCD exactly: there is no tolerance, unless you use a PCD adapter.

  • PCD: 8x165.1 required. See all vehicles with 8x165.1.
  • Centre bore: the wheel must have a centre bore of 123.9 mm or more. If it is larger (as with most aftermarket wheels), add a hub centric ring wheel centre bore → 123.9 mm.
  • Offset: the original is ET0 to ET6.35. Compare your future wheel with the offset calculator (your vehicle is already selected) to see how many millimetres further in or out it will sit.
  • Fixings: thread Ecrous - 9/16 - 18 U, tightened to 190 Nm. The nuts or bolts must have the same seat (conical, spherical or flat) as the wheel.
  • Tyres: original fitment is 225/75R16, 245/75R16. For another size, check the diameter difference with the equivalence calculator (under 3 % recommended).

Vehicles with the same PCD and centre bore

Same 8x165.1 PCD and same 123.9 mm centre bore: wheels from these vehicles bolt on and centre on a Ford E-350 without rings. Offset, width, diameter and caliper clearance still need checking.

Will wheels from another vehicle fit your E-350?

Frequently asked questions

What is the PCD of a Ford E-350?

A Ford E-350 (1992–2007) has a PCD of 8x165.1: 8 studs or bolts spaced around a circle 165.1 mm in diameter.

Does a Ford E-350 need a hub centric ring?

The centre bore (hub diameter) of a Ford E-350 is 123.9 mm. A wheel with a larger centre bore is fitted with a hub centric ring that brings it down to the hub diameter. A wheel with a smaller centre bore cannot be fitted.

What offset (ET) for a Ford E-350?

The recorded original offset is ET0 to ET6.35 depending on the version and wheel size. A lower ET pushes the wheel outwards, a higher ET pulls it inwards: check wheel well and caliper clearance before making any change.

What tightening torque for the wheels of a Ford E-350?

The specified tightening torque is 190 Nm for Ecrous - 9/16 - 18 U fixings. Tighten in a criss-cross pattern with a torque wrench and check the tightness again after about fifty kilometres.

Which vehicles have the same PCD as a Ford E-350?

With the same PCD (8x165.1) and the same centre bore (123.9 mm), these include: Ford E-250 Econoline. Offset, width and rim diameter still need checking for each vehicle.
