Fitting wheels on a Nissan Navara

A Nissan Navara (1998–2004) uses a 6x114.3 or 6x139.7 PCD and a centre bore of 108 or 66.1 mm. Any wheel must match the vehicle's PCD exactly: there is no tolerance, unless you use a PCD adapter.

  • PCD: 6x114.3 or 6x139.7 required. See all vehicles with 6x114.3.
  • Centre bore: the wheel must have a centre bore of 66.1 mm or more. If it is larger (as with most aftermarket wheels), add a hub centric ring wheel centre bore → 66.1 mm.
  • Offset: the original is ET10 to ET45. Compare your future wheel with the offset calculator (your vehicle is already selected) to see how many millimetres further in or out it will sit.
  • Fixings: thread Ecrous - 12x1.25, tightened to 136 Nm. The nuts or bolts must have the same seat (conical, spherical or flat) as the wheel.
  • Tyres: original fitment is 235/75R15, 235/70R16, 255/70R16. For another size, check the diameter difference with the equivalence calculator (under 3 % recommended).

Will wheels from another vehicle fit your Navara?

Choose the vehicle the wheels come from: we compare the hub, then each original wheel to the millimetre.

Same PCD, different centre bore

These vehicles also use 6x114.3 but with a different centre bore: their wheels need a hub centric ring if their centre bore is larger than 66.1 mm, and will not fit if it is smaller.

Frequently asked questions

What is the PCD of a Nissan Navara?

A Nissan Navara (1998–2004) can have a 6x114.3 or 6x139.7 PCD depending on the version: check on an original wheel.

Does a Nissan Navara need a hub centric ring?

The centre bore (hub diameter) of a Nissan Navara is 108 or 66.1 mm. A wheel with a larger centre bore is fitted with a hub centric ring that brings it down to the hub diameter. A wheel with a smaller centre bore cannot be fitted.

What offset (ET) for a Nissan Navara?

The recorded original offset is ET10 to ET45 depending on the version and wheel size. A lower ET pushes the wheel outwards, a higher ET pulls it inwards: check wheel well and caliper clearance before making any change.

What tightening torque for the wheels of a Nissan Navara?

The specified tightening torque is 136 Nm for Ecrous - 12x1.25 fixings. Tighten in a criss-cross pattern with a torque wrench and check the tightness again after about fifty kilometres.

Which vehicles have the same PCD as a Nissan Navara?

With the same PCD (6x114.3) and the same centre bore (66.1 mm), these include: Nissan Xterra, Nissan Pathfinder, Mercedes X-Classe, Renault Alaskan. Offset, width and rim diameter still need checking for each vehicle.
