Fitting wheels on a Suzuki Swift V

A Suzuki Swift V (2017–2024) uses a 4x100 PCD and a centre bore of 54.1 mm. Any wheel must match the vehicle's PCD exactly: there is no tolerance, unless you use a PCD adapter.

  • PCD: 4x100 required. See all vehicles with 4x100.
  • Centre bore: the wheel must have a centre bore of 54.1 mm or more. If it is larger (as with most aftermarket wheels), add a hub centric ring wheel centre bore → 54.1 mm.
  • Offset: the original is ET40 to ET45. Compare your future wheel with the offset calculator (your vehicle is already selected) to see how many millimetres further in or out it will sit.
  • Fixings: thread M12x1.25, tightened to 100 Nm. The nuts or bolts must have the same seat (conical, spherical or flat) as the wheel.
  • Tyres: original fitment is 175/65R15, 185/55R16. For another size, check the diameter difference with the equivalence calculator (under 3 % recommended).

Generations of the Suzuki Swift

Previous generation: Suzuki Swift 4WD (2010–2017) — same 4x100 bolt pattern and same centre bore: original wheels swap between the two generations; check offset and diameter. Next generation: Suzuki Swift VI (from 2024) — same 4x100 bolt pattern and same centre bore: original wheels swap between the two generations; check offset and diameter.

The original specs vary with the year, trim or wheel size. Identify your version from the tyre size marked on the sidewall.

Vehicles with the same PCD and centre bore

Same 4x100 PCD and same 54.1 mm centre bore: wheels from these vehicles bolt on and centre on a Suzuki Swift V without rings. Offset, width, diameter and caliper clearance still need checking.

Will wheels from another vehicle fit your Swift V?

Choose the vehicle the wheels come from: we compare the hub, then each original wheel to the millimetre.

Frequently asked questions

What is the PCD of a Suzuki Swift V?

A Suzuki Swift V (2017–2024) has a PCD of 4x100: 4 studs or bolts spaced around a circle 100 mm in diameter.

Does a Suzuki Swift V need a hub centric ring?

The centre bore (hub diameter) of a Suzuki Swift V is 54.1 mm. A wheel with a larger centre bore is fitted with a hub centric ring that brings it down to the hub diameter. A wheel with a smaller centre bore cannot be fitted.

What offset (ET) for a Suzuki Swift V?

The recorded original offset is ET40 to ET45 depending on the version and wheel size. A lower ET pushes the wheel outwards, a higher ET pulls it inwards: check wheel well and caliper clearance before making any change.

What tightening torque for the wheels of a Suzuki Swift V?

The specified tightening torque is 100 Nm for M12x1.25 fixings. Tighten in a criss-cross pattern with a torque wrench and check the tightness again after about fifty kilometres.

Which vehicles have the same PCD as a Suzuki Swift V?

With the same PCD (4x100) and the same centre bore (54.1 mm), these include: Suzuki Swift VI, Suzuki Ignis III, Suzuki Alivio, Suzuki Celerio. Offset, width and rim diameter still need checking for each vehicle.
