A Lincoln Aviator (2002–2005) uses a 5x114.3 PCD and a centre bore of 70.6 mm.
Any wheel must match the vehicle's PCD exactly: there is no tolerance, unless you use a PCD adapter.
Centre bore: the wheel must have a centre bore of 70.6 mm or more. If it is larger (as with most aftermarket wheels), add a hub centric ring wheel centre bore → 70.6 mm.
Offset: the original is ET37 to ET44. Compare your future wheel with the offset calculator (your vehicle is already selected) to see how many millimetres further in or out it will sit.
Fixings: thread Ecrous - 1/2 - 20 UN, tightened to 204 Nm. The nuts or bolts must have the same seat (conical, spherical or flat) as the wheel.
Tyres: original fitment is 245/65R17, 255/60R19. For another size, check the diameter difference with the equivalence calculator (under 3 % recommended).

Vehicles with the same PCD and centre bore
Same 5x114.3 PCD and same 70.6 mm centre bore: wheels from these vehicles bolt on and centre on a Lincoln Aviator without rings. Offset, width, diameter and caliper clearance still need checking.
These vehicles also use 5x114.3 but with a different centre bore: their wheels need a hub centric ring if their centre bore is larger than 70.6 mm, and will not fit if it is smaller.
A Lincoln Aviator (2002–2005) has a PCD of 5x114.3: 5 studs or bolts spaced around a circle 114.3 mm in diameter.
Does a Lincoln Aviator need a hub centric ring?
The centre bore (hub diameter) of a Lincoln Aviator is 70.6 mm. A wheel with a larger centre bore is fitted with a hub centric ring that brings it down to the hub diameter. A wheel with a smaller centre bore cannot be fitted.
What offset (ET) for a Lincoln Aviator?
The recorded original offset is ET37 to ET44 depending on the version and wheel size. A lower ET pushes the wheel outwards, a higher ET pulls it inwards: check wheel well and caliper clearance before making any change.
What tightening torque for the wheels of a Lincoln Aviator?
The specified tightening torque is 204 Nm for Ecrous - 1/2 - 20 UN fixings. Tighten in a criss-cross pattern with a torque wrench and check the tightness again after about fifty kilometres.
Which vehicles have the same PCD as a Lincoln Aviator?
With the same PCD (5x114.3) and the same centre bore (70.6 mm), these include: Lincoln MKX, Lincoln Towncar, Ford Edge. Offset, width and rim diameter still need checking for each vehicle.
