Fitting wheels on a Toyota Yaris IV

A Toyota Yaris IV (from 2020) uses a 5x100 PCD and a centre bore of 54.1 mm. Any wheel must match the vehicle's PCD exactly: there is no tolerance, unless you use a PCD adapter.

  • PCD: 5x100 required. See all vehicles with 5x100.
  • Centre bore: the wheel must have a centre bore of 54.1 mm or more. If it is larger (as with most aftermarket wheels), add a hub centric ring wheel centre bore → 54.1 mm.
  • Offset: the original is ET45 to ET50. Compare your future wheel with the offset calculator (your vehicle is already selected) to see how many millimetres further in or out it will sit.
  • Fixings: thread M12x1.50, tightened to 103 Nm. The nuts or bolts must have the same seat (conical, spherical or flat) as the wheel.
  • Tyres: original fitment is 185/65R15, 195/55R16, 205/45R17. For another size, check the diameter difference with the equivalence calculator (under 3 % recommended).

Vehicles with the same PCD and centre bore

Same 5x100 PCD and same 54.1 mm centre bore: wheels from these vehicles bolt on and centre on a Toyota Yaris IV without rings. Offset, width, diameter and caliper clearance still need checking.

Frequently asked questions

What is the PCD of a Toyota Yaris IV?

A Toyota Yaris IV (from 2020) has a PCD of 5x100: 5 studs or bolts spaced around a circle 100 mm in diameter.

Does a Toyota Yaris IV need a hub centric ring?

The centre bore (hub diameter) of a Toyota Yaris IV is 54.1 mm. A wheel with a larger centre bore is fitted with a hub centric ring that brings it down to the hub diameter. A wheel with a smaller centre bore cannot be fitted.

What offset (ET) for a Toyota Yaris IV?

The recorded original offset is ET45 to ET50 depending on the version and wheel size. A lower ET pushes the wheel outwards, a higher ET pulls it inwards: check wheel well and caliper clearance before making any change.

What tightening torque for the wheels of a Toyota Yaris IV?

The specified tightening torque is 103 Nm for M12x1.50 fixings. Tighten in a criss-cross pattern with a torque wrench and check the tightness again after about fifty kilometres.

Which vehicles have the same PCD as a Toyota Yaris IV?

With the same PCD (5x100) and the same centre bore (54.1 mm), these include: Toyota Corolla US, Toyota Verso S, Toyota Urban Cruiser, Toyota Avensis II. Offset, width and rim diameter still need checking for each vehicle.
