Fitting wheels on a Seat Cordoba

A Seat Cordoba (1993–2002) uses a 4x100 or 5x100 PCD and a centre bore of 57.1 mm. Any wheel must match the vehicle's PCD exactly: there is no tolerance, unless you use a PCD adapter.

  • PCD: 4x100 or 5x100 required. See all vehicles with 4x100.
  • Centre bore: the wheel must have a centre bore of 57.1 mm or more. If it is larger (as with most aftermarket wheels), add a hub centric ring wheel centre bore → 57.1 mm.
  • Offset: the original is ET39 to ET45. Compare your future wheel with the offset calculator (your vehicle is already selected) to see how many millimetres further in or out it will sit.
  • Fixings: thread M12x1.50, tightened to 110 Nm. The nuts or bolts must have the same seat (conical, spherical or flat) as the wheel.
  • Tyres: original fitment is 175/70R13. For another size, check the diameter difference with the equivalence calculator (under 3 % recommended).

Vehicles with the same PCD and centre bore

Same 4x100 PCD and same 57.1 mm centre bore: wheels from these vehicles bolt on and centre on a Seat Cordoba without rings. Offset, width, diameter and caliper clearance still need checking.

Frequently asked questions

What is the PCD of a Seat Cordoba?

A Seat Cordoba (1993–2002) can have a 4x100 or 5x100 PCD depending on the version: check on an original wheel.

Does a Seat Cordoba need a hub centric ring?

The centre bore (hub diameter) of a Seat Cordoba is 57.1 mm. A wheel with a larger centre bore is fitted with a hub centric ring that brings it down to the hub diameter. A wheel with a smaller centre bore cannot be fitted.

What offset (ET) for a Seat Cordoba?

The recorded original offset is ET39 to ET45 depending on the version and wheel size. A lower ET pushes the wheel outwards, a higher ET pulls it inwards: check wheel well and caliper clearance before making any change.

What tightening torque for the wheels of a Seat Cordoba?

The specified tightening torque is 110 Nm for M12x1.50 fixings. Tighten in a criss-cross pattern with a torque wrench and check the tightness again after about fifty kilometres.

Which vehicles have the same PCD as a Seat Cordoba?

With the same PCD (4x100) and the same centre bore (57.1 mm), these include: Seat Mii, Seat Arosa, Seat Inca, Seat Ibiza. Offset, width and rim diameter still need checking for each vehicle.
