Fitting wheels on a Seat Ibiza

A Seat Ibiza (1993–2002) uses a 5x100 or 4x100 PCD and a centre bore of 57.1 mm. Any wheel must match the vehicle's PCD exactly: there is no tolerance, unless you use a PCD adapter.

  • PCD: 5x100 or 4x100 required. See all vehicles with 5x100.
  • Centre bore: the wheel must have a centre bore of 57.1 mm or more. If it is larger (as with most aftermarket wheels), add a hub centric ring wheel centre bore → 57.1 mm.
  • Offset: the original is ET38 to ET45. Compare your future wheel with the offset calculator (your vehicle is already selected) to see how many millimetres further in or out it will sit.
  • Fixings: thread M14x1.50. The nuts or bolts must have the same seat (conical, spherical or flat) as the wheel.
  • Tyres: original fitment is 185/60R14, 195/55R15. For another size, check the diameter difference with the equivalence calculator (under 3 % recommended).

Vehicles with the same PCD and centre bore

Same 5x100 PCD and same 57.1 mm centre bore: wheels from these vehicles bolt on and centre on a Seat Ibiza without rings. Offset, width, diameter and caliper clearance still need checking.

Frequently asked questions

What is the PCD of a Seat Ibiza?

A Seat Ibiza (1993–2002) can have a 5x100 or 4x100 PCD depending on the version: check on an original wheel.

Does a Seat Ibiza need a hub centric ring?

The centre bore (hub diameter) of a Seat Ibiza is 57.1 mm. A wheel with a larger centre bore is fitted with a hub centric ring that brings it down to the hub diameter. A wheel with a smaller centre bore cannot be fitted.

What offset (ET) for a Seat Ibiza?

The recorded original offset is ET38 to ET45 depending on the version and wheel size. A lower ET pushes the wheel outwards, a higher ET pulls it inwards: check wheel well and caliper clearance before making any change.

Which vehicles have the same PCD as a Seat Ibiza?

With the same PCD (5x100) and the same centre bore (57.1 mm), these include: Seat Arona, Seat Ibiza V, Seat Ibiza ST, Seat Leon Cupra R. Offset, width and rim diameter still need checking for each vehicle.
